Parish Life

The heart of parish life at St. Matthew's is the celebration of the Eucharist. Our parish offers a variety of ways to be part of this Catholic family of faith.

In addition to the celebration of the sacramental life of the Church, parishioners are invited to various liturgical ministries, such as singing in our choir, or serving as a lector, altar server, or as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Parishioners are also called to discern how they can serve the poor and marginalized through ministries of social justice - visiting the sick and homebound, providing bereavement ministries at funerals, serving the homeless, and feeding the hungry through our parish food pantry.

Faith formation is a vital element of the Catholic life. We must continuously grow in knowledge and understanding of our faith in Jesus Christ and the Church. St. Matthew's Parish
religious education provides faith formation for our children. All of us are called to grow as Catholics. We encourage you to continue exploring more about our Catholic faith.
